INFORMATION

Everything you need to know about Flower City Work Camp all in one, beautifully coded website!

ELIGIBILITY

Students who are part of a participating church/youth group in grades 7-12 are eligible to attend Work Camp.

  • Churches apply to participate prior to student applications opening up.  If your church isn’t listed on the drop down list in the application then your church isn’t participating.
  • If you are home schooled and have worked ahead, you should enroll for the grade level you would be in based on your age.
  • If you have turned 18, but are still enrolled in high school, you would still enroll as a student.

CAMP FEES

The camp fee covers all meals while at Work Camp, materials and supplies purchased for service projects and includes the annual theme t-shirt.

  • The student camper fee to attend Flower City Work Camp is $180.
  • For a second student attending from the same family, the student camper fee is $165.
  • For a third or additional student attending from the same family, the student camper fee is $145.

No financial aid is available through Flower City Work Camp.  If you are needing financial aid to attend, contact your Youth Leader to see what assistance might be available through your church.

Take a virtual tour of Work Camp before you apply:

Service Areas – students can choose to serve in one of four areas of Work Camp based on their interest level and grade level.  Click through to learn more about where you can serve during your week with us.

Student Shepherd Program – Each team at Work Camp has one camper (usually an 11th or 12th grader) who is selected and trained to act as the team’s Student Shepherd.  Click through for more information about the role and how to sign up.

Home Base – Work Camp is hosted by a local area church where you will live, eat, sleep and shower.  Click through to learn about what to expect and this place we call “home” while at Work Camp.

Worship Program – Each day is filled with service, but we start and end each day with times of worship and impactful teaching.  Click through to learn about what you can expect from these times.

Nurses Station – We have your well being in mind throughout the week.  Click through to learn about the Physician’s Authorization release, our intake screening, how medications are administered and all things medical.

Dining Hall – We will keep you fed at Work Camp so you can keep on serving each day.  We don’t publish a menu, but we can share what we typically serve (and we always have gluten free and vegetarian options for those who need them).

Trading Post – You don’t need to bring spending money to Work Camp.  But, if you do, we have you covered.  At the end of each day you’ll be able to visit our Merchandise Store and Snack Shop in the lobby of Home Base.
